I get the impression you're shooting from the hip...? Is it a conscious decision Michael to tilt the camera at the time of releasing the shutter? Do you think it's is necessary or necessary for certain images?

hey, i do shoot from the hip occasionally, depending on the camera i'm using and the situation. I don't shoot from the hip much with a film camera because it's simply a waste of film, but with a digital camera, which i sometimes use along with my film gear, it can be a good technique for getting really close and getting a natural shot. thanks.
